He is the only one I have seen in 4 years that took his time, checked the moles that I have and more importantly listened to my concerns. He got me in for some biopsies. Can't speak highly he's a brilliant consultant and I hope that I can still see him in the future. He's a credit to the NHS

I have met Mr Ekwobi 3 times now, twice in clinic and once for my operation. On all occasions I found Mr Ekwobi pleasant, friendly and easily understandable (no talking above you). He makes sure you understand and does not rush and, he has a good sense of humour too which is good to see. When performing my operation, he was informing me all the time of what he was doing and checking on whether I could feel anything. Reassuring and comforting that I was in 'capable hands'. Nobody wants to have surgery but Mr Ekwobi performed my op with neatness and his skills even though it is in an area that isn't really going to be on show to other people. Excellent follow up care was provided with again the reassurance that if I have any worries about any further suspicious skin marks/moles to contact his secretary who would make an appointment for me rather than having to wait for my next routinely 3 month check ups. I would certainly recommend this doctor and would like to thank him for his kindness throughout. Even the practise nurse at my doctors was surprised at how neat a job Mr Ekwobi had done!

I had a debridement in Royal Lancaster Infirmary due to Abdominal Necrotising Facsitis. Therefore, I had an open wound which required Plastic Surgery at the Royal Preston Hospital. Mr Chidi Ekwobi came to see me on the ward, in Lancaster, after his clinic. He was very smart, friendly, professional, and compassionate which immediately filled me with confidence. This was very important, as I had had a serious illness and my confidence had taken a knock, and also you are facing the fear of the unknown. He was able to put my mind at rest and showed total commitment to having me transferred to Preston at the earliest opportunity. This happened fairly quickly, and the operation was done within a few days. I had excellent care by the Plastic Surgery team, the nursing staff who were very efficient, and was discharged a week after the operation. I saw Mr Ekwobi at Out Patients on the 7/2/2016, where he made me feel very comfortable, by asking questions and listening to me on the way forward. Excellent care by all concerned. Thankyou.

Mr Ekwobi saw my daughter on a number of occasions at RLI for an ulcerated birthmark. The care we recieved from Mr Ekwobi and the team was fantastic. I phoned the dermatology team as an anxious parent worried about my daughter being in so much discomfort. My worries were listened too and we recieved an early appointment. Mr Ekwobi took the time to talk me through my concerns. He put my mind at ease and saw us again for a follow up soon after. In my own professional life I work as a practioner psychologist and Dr in my field. I frequently experience the world from the professional side not the client. Even as a professional myself, I am often left confused by medical professionals who explain things from their "language heavy" understanding, rather than, a simplistic version to benefit patients. This was the opposite to my experience with Mr Ekwobi who left me more empowered as a parent in my understanding. I feel more medical professionals should have empowerment of patients as an essential outcome of treatment. I was very impressed overall by the dermatology team for the kindness and welcome they gave my daughter. Thank you!
